The Isaac Foundation was formed in early 2002 and received IRS approval of its non-profit status as a 501(c)(3) foundation on May 3, 2002.

The foundation's name is based on the bible character Isaac, who was to be sacrificed by his father Abraham in obedience to God's command, but the Lord intervened at the last moment and saved Isaac. The story of Isaac is similar to the Isaac Foundation's mission in that our goal is to save children who might otherwise be sacrificed into situations of homelessness and poverty, or in some cases even bonded slavery or child prostitution.

The Isaac Foundation's purpose is to provide love, care, and support to children who are suffering from the devastating affects of the AIDS epidemic throughout the world. The foundation's primary focus is supporting children whose parents have died or are dying from AIDS. In addition, the foundation supports projects that provide assistance to children suffering from the affects of disease, poverty, or oppression. As a Christian-based organization, our goal is to show Christ's love and restore hope for a bright and promising future to children who would otherwise be neglected, suffering, unwanted, and without hope.
